Mahika Shrivastava

I graduated from Tufts University in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and I am pursuing a Master’s in BME from Columbia. I have hands-on experience in both research and industry settings, with projects ranging from data analytics to medical device design. I have previously worked on developing silk-based hydrogels for drug delivery, redesigning a microfluidic chip for enhanced perfusion staining, and prototyping a novel lung biopsy tool. I look forward to combining these unique research skills with the work I will be doing in the VIBES lab.
