Nikita Kumar

About

Nikita is a senior at Herricks High School. She previously studied and developed mathematical models of oncolytic viral therapy and its effects on the tumor microenvironment at MIT. She joined the lab for the summer of 2025 and is currently working on applying spatial derivatives and machine learning to better detect tumor boundaries and other mechanical properties from MRE scans. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, working on robotics, and reading.
