Allen Hong

Allen joined The VIBES lab in Fall 2024 after graduating with his B.S. from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ). He previously studied deep brain stimulation: a clinical technique for treating movement disorders at TCNJ, and also conducted research at Johns Hopkins University on the biomechanics of the brain with aging. He received the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2024 and his research interests are within studying the biomechanics of the brain and utilizing MRE for the presence of tumor malformations within the brain. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, running, music and trying new foods!
